I rarely get rare or good drops but when THIS is not what im seeing as a rare drop...

Or am i missing something here?

@generik: It can't be a collector's because it's req. 11.

@Daiken: That's not rare, merely uncommon or enchanted, however you want to put it. Rares have gold text and are called rare by the ingame text.

I got one like that the other day, required fire magic but only water magic got a benefit. I sold it to a merchant lol...

im aiming to the fact itsan earth wand,doing air favours.. i mean WTH? why dont they get rid of items like this and make some good stoff drop more?

Because stats are random...except for the fact that the last 4 or so gold Eternal Shields I got were all +29 health while in stance

So if they made it an earth bonus it would be worthy of using? Its non-max, high req and will have a far from pefect casting time bonus. You can pick up better purples if you are on a budget for nothing. Play through the game and you will come across many perfect weapons which will please you.

I saw a similar item and thought 'Sweet, new mods!' But then I've noticed a lot better descriptions on the, errr...descriptions of items (runes for example, especially Absorbtion). I don't think this is anything new, we just used to call it "Improves Casting speed using Air Magic skills (X% Chance)" back in the day.

Then again I could be full of s***.

You get bad drops, o well. So does everyone else if you think that way. If rares dropped every 5 seconds, they wouldn't be rares...

Anyway, it is not based upon luck or whatnot, it is an ALGORITHM. So if you think you have bad luck, it could be that one day you find a perfect weapon/item.
